This photograph was part of a private archival collection collected by Alexander Miller, Superintendent of the Glens Falls Schools. the print is on a bayish mount. 7x9 in. This photo is in Bridging the Years page 98. A festival or event on Glen Street. [Possibly the visit by Gov. Roswell P. Flower in 1893.] Some of the business present are B. B. Fowler, Dr. L. H. Graves, Dentist, Ferguson Millinery. The Fowler store was there in 1874-1902 when this building burned. The store, however, was rebuilt. Dr. L. H. Graves was there in the 1888 city directory |
