R.C. Carter is stamped on the back. Cutler DeLong was one of Zopher DeLong's eight children. He was born on January 5, 1846 and died November 25, 1928. He was an executive at the Glens Falls Insurance Co. He had four daughters: Kathy married Robert Carter; Mary married Charles West; Helen married Howard Bush; and Annie married Mr. O' Reilly. Robert Carter was born in Layfette, Indiana on July 4, 1874 and died on November 18, 1963. He and Kathy DeLong married on November 21, 1901. He was a clerk at the Glens Falls Insurance Co. ca.1897-1912, Treasurer ca. 1918-1927, and Sec/Treasurer ca. 1930-1935. He was on the board of several other companies, including the Glens Falls Portland Cement Co. |
