Mabel DeLong, daughter of John DeLong, resided at 220 Glen (now Chapman Museum) from ca. 1880-1941. She married Harry Austin ca. 1905-1908. In 1927, she married Frederick B. Chapman and lived with him at 220 Glen until her death in 1941. Frederick Chapman married Juliet Goodman in 1943 and she donated the house to the historical association. Mabel's other siblings were Bertha and Charles P. She was cousin to Mary and Edith. Mary Adams, daughter of George E., was listed in the directories from 1899-ca.1918. Arthur DeLong, was one of John DeLong's sons. |
