This photograph was originally part of the Glens Falls Insurance Company archives donated to the Chapman Museum in 1977. Edward Bemis was a volunteer fireman. He was the son of Dr. Edward Bemis who started the Bemis Eye Sanitarium. He continued the clinic after his father's death. |
