This photograph was part of a private archival collection collected by Alexander Miller, Superintendent of Glens Falls Schools. This is a written key to the names of the Exchange St. Merchant's Clam Bake 1912 that accompanied the photograph. Since there are so many names and occupations, I did not research these men in the city directories: "1. Robert Hall, Post Office Employer and Captain of Co. K. N. G. N. Y. ; 2. Andrew Stahleger, Harness Maker, employed by James Jackson; 3. Joseph Dressley; 4. Fred Narrow; 5. Clifford Hall; 6. Euclid Seems, a delivery boy for Moore's Market; 7. Philip Hazelton, a painting contractor; 8. James Feeney; 9. Henry Zerfess, a retail fish market proprietor; 10. Fred Bovair; 11. Ben Lewis, a merchant tailor; 12. Earnest Garno, name may not be right; 13. George Lyons, manager of the saloon owned by Wm. H. Arnold; 14. Charles Pfau; 15. John Jones; 16 ? 17. Ed Smith (may not be correct); 18.
