This photograph was originally part of the Glens Falls Insurance Company archives donated to the Chapman Museum in 1977. M. W. White, H. N. Dickinson, R. C. Carter, H. W. Hodgson, F. L. Cowles, J. A. Maron, W. J. Nolan, J. L. Windsor, E. W. West, R. H. Griffith, H. A. Condit, W. E. Walker. Horace Dickinson worked at the Glens Falls Insurance Company as the Secretary in 1918 and Vice President in 1920-1927. Harry Condit worked as a clerk from 1918-1920, underwriter ca. 1924-1942 at the Glens Falls Insurance Company. He was retired in 1950. William Nolan was a clerk at the G.F. Ins. Co. in 1942. Frank L. Cowles was a bookkeeper at the G.F. Nat'l Bank in 1897, employed at Montok Shirts from 1910-1912, clerk in 1918, Assistant Secretary from 1920-1924, Secretary in 1927, Vice President from 1920-ca. 1935 at the G.F. Trust Co. He was retired in 1942. From 1950-1967 there was a Frank L. Cowles working as a bonds underwriter. Henry Hodgson worked at the Cement Co. ca. 1909-1912, and the G.F. Ins. Co. as a clerk ca. 1918-1920, and underwriter ca. 1924-1950. |
